DeeDee Trotter
After competing 13 years as a professional athlete, DeeDee pursued her dream of becoming a professional pastry chef. At the age of 39, she graduated from the art institute of Atlanta with a perfect 4.0 GPA, which earned her Valedictorian and Top Pastry Students honors. Deedee is now living her dream as the Executive Pastry Chef at one of the top golf clubs in Atlanta, as well as the Executive pastry chef of Taste of Gold Bakery. Taste of Gold Bakery was established in 2021. We believe in quality desserts made with real ingredients from scratch. At Taste of Gold Bakery, our motto is Greatness Has a Taste!

As an Army veteran and international traveler I‘ve been able to experience foods from all over the world. Soon my curiosity for eating delicious food became my passion for preparing it.
Over the years I’ve transitioned into a healthier eating lifestyle that has consisted of me learning how to master applying bold flavors into fulfilling vegan dishes and desserts.
As a graduate of The Art Institute of Atlanta, my duel degree in culinary arts and baking and pastry has truly enhanced my skills to a new level. I am excited to be the Executive Sous Chef and head of the Vegan Pastry Department for Taste of Gold Bakery.
